ROKHEDZ will never
forget those that died a senseless death on Dec. 8th 2004.
"Dimebag" Darrell Abbott gave us his flavor of All American
Metal!! His squealing southern style while in Pantera will NEVER be
duplicated again. Dimebag's positive influence has touched us all.
ROKHEDZ correspondent Steve Anderson had the honor of hanging out with
Damage Plan in Portland, Oregon where he received a health tip from
Dimebag. Steve was doing an interview with Pat Lachman when Darrell
handed him a newly imported Energy Drink. Steve, being a part time
grocer, had never seen such a drink and proceeded to try it out. It
kicked ass, I tried some when I was up that way for The Seattle Metal
Fest. Dimebag was that kind of person, always trying to pass on a good
time... We'll miss him. For more on Dimebag Darrell and the interview
with Pat Lachman check out Crave Magazine online...www.cravemagazine.com
and for some killer pics check out www.efestivals.co.uk.
Bay Area Metal/Hardcore/Punk
Scene Looses AJ...

ROKHEDZ will never forget the strong, hardworking, always moving,
devoted AJ. AJ managed (An Insipid Production). AJ loved the
music scene and gave her life to promote Heavy Music. AJ brought
hundreds of kick ass bands to the San Francisco Area. She dared to
venture where others may not have and we praise her for it. ROKHEDZ
always made sure she knew we appreciated her and everything she provided
for the scene. AJ knew what the PIT is all about! ROKHEDZ will miss
AJ...
BLOODY RAIN WILL FALL ON SELECT SLAYER
TOUR DATES
Slayer's
"Wall of Blood" To Create Gory Downpour
"Still Reigning" DVD Has a
Confirmed
November 2 Release Date
For years, artists have looked to create
exciting and innovative stage designs for their fans - thrash/punk/metal
gods SLAYER will push that concept right over the edge this fall with an
effect dubbed the "Wall of Blood." Slayer's Wall of
Blood will make its North American debut when the band headlines the
Jagermeister Music Tour, set to kick off October 29 in Springfield, MO
(full itinerary below).
At select shows (determined by each venue's technical specs) during
Slayer's classic song "Raining Blood," the band, their
instruments, and the stage will be drenched by a downpour of
"blood." The "Wall of Blood" will rain more
than 150 litres of theatrical blood over an area measuring from 32-feet
to 40-feet wide (determined by the size of the venue’s stage), 25-feet
high, and six-feet deep. The device is a dedicated truss and
sprinkler system that utilizes a unique pump technology, and was
designed exclusively for Slayer by UK-based Hangman Productions.
Slayer used the "raining blood" effect last July in Augusta,
ME while filming their brand-new DVD, "Still Reigning." The
Dean Karr-directed DVD opens with the the band's 1986, 28-minute
benchmark album "Reign In Blood" performed live in its
entirety by Slayer's original line-up - Tom Araya (vocals, bass),
guitarists Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman, and drummer Dave Lombardo, who
permanently rejoined the band in 2003. "Still Reigning"
also offers bonus material including live performances of Slayer
classics such as "War Ensemble," "Hallowed Point,"
"Necrophobic," "Mandatory Suicide," "Spill The
Blood," "Hell Awaits," and "South of Heaven,"
as well as exclusive interviews and backstage footage. "Still
Reigning" has a running time of more than 80-minutes and a
confirmed November 2, 2004 release date.
Slayer’s “Wall of Blood” will be in effect at as many venues on
the Fall Jagermeister Music Tour as possible; the confirmed
“bloodbath” cities/venues will be announced shortly, and you can
always log onto to Slayer’s website – www.slayer.net – for
updates.

God Forbid pumped it up on the early stage. Spewing forth aggressive
licks at 10:30 am...

Lacuna Coil drew lots of attention with a combination of grace and
power! They took control of the Bay Area fans!

We like the question authority part!
.jpg)
We're sure the authorities would try to tell this man to get some shoes!
And we know that Hank III would tell them politely what to do with their
suggestion. Hank III RULES!
